Universal and Ongoing Education: Universal education is that sound education, forming the student's personality by inculcating in them the noble habits of piety, virtue, discipline and self-reliance. During the years of study at JCS, they are to strive for academic excellence, development of skills, character formation, all round development and sincere commitment and fear of God.
Communicative Skills in English: From the very tender age how children can get acquainted with english language and use it correctly and efficiently in communicating with everyone, is a matter of great concern. At JCS every effort is made to teach the students to handle English effectively in their interaction and writing skills.
Discipline and Formation: At JCS the students are given ample opportunity to reflect, build their personality by ensuring a high standard morality and discipline in the school. A student must strive to attain qualities of mind and heart and integrate into his/ her life, virtues such as honesty, sincerity, piety, compassion, generosity, love for nature and self reliance.
Spiritual: The school respects the freedom and personal conscience of each one, creating a climate of serenity and happiness in the school. To promote in all students a rootedness in their faith and appreciation for other religions, JCS provides facilities for campus relationships, moral instructions, group dynamism etc.
Social: JCS aims at forming its students that they be human persons deeply convinced of the common fatherhood of God and the bond of fellowship among human beings. During their schooling at JCS, every student should learn to accept his/her own uniqueness and that of others as persons. He/she will have a special concern for the dispossessed and marginalized in the society. They should become motivated to act as agents of social change. They should in future, as matured human persons resist all evils ofthe society and build the nation. They are initiated to promote the values of love, peace, justice and freedom in society.
Intellectual: JCS helps the students to strive for academic excellence, using all the available means in the school, in a spirit of acquiring and applying knowledge through collaboration rather than competition. Every student should have the skills to evaluate and criticize objectively and constructively and have the capacity and concern to continue in his/her strife towards wisdom.
Cultural: India has always been known as a land of rich culture'. Our culture is very rich in signs and symbols. JCS helps the students to respect and appreciate the richness of Indian culture which is expressed in certain values and attitudes like silence and interiority, spirit of detachment and freedom, asceticism, hard work and respect for others.
JCS also gives the students a sense of patriotism, respecting the different cultures around her. He/she will work for national integration and communal harmony, respecting others without distinction of any religion, caste, language or economic status.
Academic exposure programs: Every new born babe comes to this world with a spark of the divine in him/her. Therefore enormous amount of creative talents are inherent in every child. The parents and the teachers are the first ones to discover these traits and talents in them. We must spot them at an early age and develop them further by words of encouragement and whole hearted support. In this regard we must enhance such talents with proper care and guidance.
Children by nature, have a great deal of curiosity and an ardent desire to discover everything around them. Keeping in view of this, JCS at different phases of the academic year, arrange number of exposure programs. and talent enhancing activities. During the academic year the students are given opportunity to discover, develop and demonstrate their inherent God given talents and capabilities by various exposure programs such as Annual Science Exhibition, Annual Academic Study Tour, kids Day and colour day etc.
Sports and Games: The student's personality, initiatives and originality are given full scope by giving opportunity to involve and participate in student's movements, sports and games.
Conclusion
We wish to construct with the young, a civilization of love, to change the world, make it a more human place, more fraternal and to a great extend a world of God, in an unconditional attitude of welcome, listening and openness which builds up confidence.
Registration and admission
The registration form can be obtained from the school office by paying an amount of Rs. 250/-. The Parents/Guardians can approach the school office on any working day. The forms have to be submitted to the principal. Upon receiving the filled up registration form, the school authorities will allot the date and time of interview for the admission of the child to the school. Parents are expected to fill in the admission form with at most accuracy» No subsequent changes will be permitted afterwards.
A candidate who has attended a recognized school may be admitted with a transfer certificate (TC).
A new candidate must be introduced personally to the principal by the one who will be responsible for his/her conduct and fees.
